Wouldn’t it be all too easy to progress through life without change? Sometimes change is driven to us, caused by something outside of our control.

I was to find myself in this situation when my employer of several years Qantas New Zealand, was placed into receivership; leaving me and many others without employment and what it seemed at the time, no future.

Soon afterwards, I secured a position with Harcourts Twiss-Keir in Belfast, as a Property Consultant. The change was challenging. Fortunately many of the attributes gained during previous years - professionalism, empathy and the enjoyment of customer focus, enabled me to create an enjoyable and successful business in real estate.

Outside of work, challenges do not stop. Recreational time is spent cooking, gardening, waterskiing and fishing - just generally enjoying the outdoors. I am very fortunate to live in Brooklands, a small semi-rural community, adjacent to the numerous water and recreational facilities. What other Christchurch suburbs offer you waterskiing, kayaking, whitebaiting, fishing, mountain biking or just walking the many tracks, merely at your back door?

A balanced lifestyle, harmony at work or play, enables me to achieve pleasing results in whatever or whomever I am involved with, and I look forward to sharing with you my personal and professional qualities.
