As someone who is used to putting in the consistent hard work and effort required to succeed in life, it is little wonder that Amanda Smith is already on the way to becoming a highly regarded and successful real estate salesperson in North Canterbury.

Originally from the UK, Amanda got the 'kiwi bug' after meeting her New Zealand born husband in her hometown sixty miles from London, a small village called Goring on Thames, which will be known to any travel buffs as the famous 'Gap' in the Chilterns dating back to the Doomsday Book!

Amanda, her husband, and three children now live in Fernside where she indulges in her favourite pass-time with horses, affectionately known as her 'paddock children', using her array of skills and qualifications which she acquired from the British Horse & British Driving Society.

After a 30 year break from competing, Amanda has recently achieved one of her greatest personal achievements by 'breaking' her young Appaloosa to saddle and competing in, and winning, her first three one day events.

Community involvement is another part of Amanda's character and you will see her sharing her knowledge with keen riders as an instructor at the Eyreton Pony Club.

“I truly believe that partnership is sacred regardless of its origin”, says Amanda, who prides herself on following a job through from start to finish, ensuring in no matter what she is doing that the best possible results are achieved, something that is sure to hold her in good stead throughout her real estate career.

Amanda's strong work ethic has seen her running her own successful businesses in the UK, both in graphics and childcare and it is this diversity and capacity to put her hand to anything which enables her to relate so well to different circumstances and an array of personalities.

A 30 acre subdivision which Amanda has recently completed with her husband has added another facet to Amanda's knowledge of real estate, and coupled with her experience as a landlord in the UK, she has both the knowledge and expertise to help clients no matter what there needs, from residential clients to developers and investors, buying or selling.
